HOPE YOU HAD LUNCH ALREADY: Subway made a statue out of sandwich materials of Georgia linebacker (and potential top NFL draft pick) Jarvis Jones. It is mildly terrifying. Maybe because we aren’t raisin people — his dreadlocks are made of 1,000 of them. (Photos: Diane Bondareff/Invision for SUBWAY/AP Images; Bebeto Matthews/The Associated Press)
The organizing committee for the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games has narrowed its search for the tournament’s mascot to six finalists … and this is what they came up with.
Not sure why two of them have masks (vigilante mascots?) or why that moose is so darn happy. And don’t even talk to us about the raccoon.
The winner will be chosen by Canadians through an online vote. Because that ended well last time.
Adidas dressed Dustin Johnson and Sergio Garcia in matching outfits for this year’s Masters. CUTE. Too bad those Sears portrait studios have closed down or else they could get some fun photos for Mom. (Photos: Harry How/Don Emmert/Andrew Redington/Getty Images)

Not that you need another reason to like Tommy Haas, but we will give you one anyway.
The 34-year-old became the oldest tennis player to upset a No. 1 after he beat Novak Djokovic at the Sony Open on Tuesday night.
Even better: This outfit he wore for the last few games. The Associated Press say that he “won ugly.” Lavender shirt, red sweatband, black shoes with lime trim, and a blue hat. Haas doesn’t really care. Because he won.
“Yeah, I’m pretty pathetic I think when it comes to colour matching,” he said after the match. “Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror before I go out and I’m like, ‘Jeez, what was I thinking?’ I guess if I maybe had a clothing contract it would be different.” (Photo: Matthew Stockman/Getty Images)

Kim Yu-na returned to the ice, but everyone was buzzing about Canada’s Kaetlyn Osmond on Thursday, who is from Newfoundland.
Osmond landed a triple-triple combination, a triple flip and a double Axel, and never let up on the accelerator, and was rewarded with the eighth-best score recorded by a female skater this season, 64.73, the fifth personal best in as many skates by Canadians this week. Kim Yu-na’s performances in Vancouver were so majestic it seemed unlikely anyone could ever come that close to perfection again.
“The Queen” sure wants to try.
The Olympic gold medallist returns to major competition for the first time in two years at this week’s World Figure Skating Championships, and she looked so sharp in practices Monday and Tuesday it was as if she had never been away.
“After I won the Olympics, like any other gold medallist out there, I did feel some emptiness in my heart,” Kim, speaking through a translator, said Tuesday night. “I did think about coming back for a long time. What motivated me was that skating is something I’m best at. And it’s something that I love the most, so I want to give it one more try.” (Photo: Toru Yamanaka/AFP/Getty Images)

WANT TO BE A MILLIONAIRE: Top row from left, Vancouver Canucks’ Cam Barker, Zack Kassian, Andrew Alberts and bottom from left, Kevin Bieksa, Daniel Sedin, of Sweden, and Ryan Kesler wear replica Vancouver Millionaires uniforms while posing for a team photograph in Vancouver, B.C., on Friday.
The team will sport the uniforms during their NHL hockey game against the Detroit Red Wings on March 16. The Millionaires played in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association and the Western Canada Hockey League between 1911 and 1926. (Photo: THE CANADIAN PRESS/Darryl Dyck)
