Who did it better? Real Madrid’s Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates after scoring during their Champions League match against Manchester City on Tuesday. But that didn’t stop coach Jose Mourinho from getting in on the party.

Don’t Cry For Me Madridistas: Why is this man so sad? Cristiano Ronaldo has again said that his unhappiness at Real Madrid is not money-related.
He wrote on Facebook on Wednesday that he is “not worried about contracts” and that “my attention is exclusively focused on winning all the games and trophies in play with the indispensable company of my teammates and all of Madrid’s fans.”
The Portugal forward’s enigmatic comment two weeks ago that he was “feeling sad” at the Spanish club sparked rumours the 27-year-old star wanted a raise. He has previously denied it is about money, saying only the club knows what the problem is about.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sadness has come as a surprise to his Real Madrid teammates, defender Alvaro Arbeloa said as he joined up with the Spain squad on Tuesday.
Portugal forward Ronaldo hit the sports headlines after Sunday’s win over Granada, when he failed to celebrate the two goals he scored and later told reporters he was “sad” for “professional” reasons, and that the club knew why.
“I don’t know what’s up with Cristiano. It was a surprise for us as much as for you, we found out after the game,” Real full back Arbeloa told reporters.

Someone is having a sad. And that someone is Cristiano Ronaldo. It makes sense - Portugal lost to Spain on penalties on Wednesday afternoon and was eliminated from Euro 2012. If you’re a Spain fan, it means your team is now in the final and must wait for the winner of Italy vs. Germany to find out the next team.

Did Ronaldo taunt Messi? Cristiano Ronaldo will be mentioned often here, but the first mention will centre on the rivalry the Portuguese superstar has been stoking with a player who is not even eligible to play at Euro 2012. Comparisons between Ronaldo and Argentina’s Lionel Messi have become a storyline this month, and that will likely remain the case after Ronaldo found a television camera after scoring the game’s only goal on Thursday. Upon further review, it appears Ronaldo mouthed the word “Messi” before blowing a kiss into the camera.

At least that’s what the talk was on Twitter. Now it seems he was saying ‘para ti’ …we’ll leave it for you to decide.
